Connecting the World, one Scene at a time
Corey is originally from Columbus, Ohio but has traveled to and experienced the majority of the major U.S. cities and college towns, including residences in New York City, Hollywood (CA), Phoenix, Bloomington (IN), and South Florida. Throughout these traveling experiences, Corey has developed a keen sense of how cities are set up or organized in terms of their “Scenes.” He credits his travels to his ability to accurately identify how each city has different entertainment districts that house similar societal demographics of people, which is the basis of how users connect on Sceney Network’s platform.
Over his lifetime, Corey has established a wide network of diverse groups of people. As a result, extensive interviews and research with college students, young professionals, several current and former NBA & NFL players, and angel technology investors were conducted in order to help create the best concept for a GeoSocial Network possible.
Corey has additional career background and experience in finance and investing himself, specifically as an analyst and manager for a technology focused fund & family office. Corey is also a published financial author who has written articles featured by Yahoo Finance and CBS MoneyWatch. This investment background has added to Corey’s unique qualifications by furthering his ability to properly identify & implement what both users & investors are looking for in a mobile social network.

A new app will be on the scene starting in February. Sceney Network will launch as a location-based social network that allows users to post their “moves” about town during a night out.
The iOS app is centered around popular locations or “Scenes” in a given city. Scenes in Columbus might include Short North, The Arena District and OSU Campus. Users will insert their location within a scene and and check their “Scene-Feed” to find others nearby.
